Books by Wayne E. Strong, President, WES Consulting Inc. Wayne Strong has had an extensive and diverse twenty seven year career with General Motors Corporation both in Canada and the United States. He has held various positions in both labour and management as well as on the Personnel side. He was Director of Labour Relations for the 1990 GM/CAW Master Contract Negotiations. Mr. Strong's notable accomplishment came as Plant manager of the GM Trim Plant, Windsor, Ontario where he is credited with leading that plant from "Plant Closure Status" to a "Highly Productive, Profitable, Award Winning Plant". His leadership brought new contracts to the plant and he led the organization towards the achievement of the GM "Mark of Excellence Award" (1991) and the prestigious Federal Government's "Canada Award for Business Excellence - Total Quality Category" (1992). Mr. Strong has been president of WES Consulting Inc. since 1992, and has been involved with Contract Negotiations and Contingency Plans for management groups in the Health Care field dealing primarily with developmentally challenged clients. He also has expertise dealing with job specific morale issues including counseling and organizational modifications. Mr. Strong holds a Bachelors Degree in Humanities and Social Sciences from Wayne State University, Detroit Michigan. He has been a Director, director Advisor and an Instructor with the GM Dale Carnegie Program. He has designed and conducted numerous seminars and training programs dealing with Effective Communications, Team Building, and Organizational Effectiveness. he has guest lectured on the subjects of Organizational Development, Organizational Business Planning and Labour Negotiations at many companies, Organizations as well as Colleges and Universities in Canada and the United States.
